Topsail Residence

Topsail Residence involved remodeling an existing vacant 1970’s duplex on the peninsula in Venice, CA. As the lead architect and custom stair fabricator working with a contractor, Breakform Design started this project with a few goals in mind. First, to combine the two units into a single-family home. Second, to amplify the views of the  Pacific Ocean. Third, to expand the number of outdoor living opportunities. This process led us to creating a home on the 2nd and 3rd floors with the first floor reserved as a guest suite and 4-car garage. The third floor double-height living spaces connect to a loft and an expansive roof deck with ocean views and dreamy vibes.
